Mastering the Smart Grid [Advanced] Bot: A Comprehensive Guide
Hello traders! Let’s dive into something much more exciting: the Smart Grid [Advanced] Bot!
Starting the Test
To start, I went back to the bot card and clicked “Test Bot,” which took me to the testing interface. This is where the automated script started, and all I had to do was wait for it to complete. After that, I opened the “Full Report” to analyze the results.
Key Metrics
In this test, I found a profit of $7,000 with a maximum drawdown of $2,000. This initial analysis gives us a solid starting point for understanding the bot’s performance.
The Advanced level allows you to customize various parameters, including:
- Deposit Size: Up to $100,000
- Number of Coins: Unlimited
- Manual Strategy Optimization: Set your own parameters
Performance Analysis
From the summary table, I noticed that it would be useful to exclude some coins such as LTC, XRP, and TRX due to their low profitability and slower recovery. So, I removed these three coins from the settings to see how this change would affect the results.
After re-running the scenario, the profit corrected to $5,000, and the maximum drawdown decreased to $1,582. The good news? The strategy recovery was noticeably faster, which is a positive sign for traders.
Tuning the Parameters for Better Results
Next, I wanted to experiment further by adjusting the “rbPercent” parameter to 7. It’s important to note that the advanced version does not have a separate aggression level; instead, it’s represented by four separate parameters. In the initial version, we combined these into one simple aggression level for ease of use.
After re-running the script, the results showed a profit of $3,424 with a maximum drawdown of $736. This change did not produce favorable results for BNB, indicating that further adjustments were needed.
Fine-tuning for Optimal Performance
To explore this further, I adjusted two additional parameters: I set “rbPercent” to 10 and “Dynamic Factor” to 2. After clicking “Run” and the script completed, I examined the report. This time, the overall performance was significantly worse, proving that the previous settings (rbPercent at 7 and Dynamic Factor at 1) were indeed more effective.
So here are my conclusions
After testing the Smart Grid Advanced bot, it became clear that the settings can lead to different results. By experimenting with the settings, you can find the optimal configuration for your trading strategy. Hopefully, this guide will help you understand the intricacies of the Advanced bot and improve your trading journey!
